I enjoyed the masters races in Poland very much (but where were all the Polish riders???) But I think that the track classification was wrong. The slowest tracks (dots) I would guess were 50-70% of top riding speed. Occasionally there was a very slow track but the map could not tell you this - and this is unfair. The other problem I see is that such a classification cannot be the same as in countries where there are many tracks below 50% speed, and our mapping should be internationally consistent. Are there other views on this?

I think they should be consistent in one area. But of course they differ much with countries or even with areas in one country. But for this reason there are model events. So you can learn how the map maker of a certain area interprets the tracks. But yes I agree if you can not ride properly on a track it should be dotted and this is the same all over the world. And if you can ride middle fast for this is also a sign ... - I saw the same mistake in the German champs last weekend where the dotted tracks became the best ones due to weather, but this was consistent so I could use this for my route choice.

Also visibility of tracks that is not the same like ridability. There is a special kind of drawing those but I guess only few know.

Visibility of a track is a different issue, the lines either join at the junction or they don't. Everyone SHOULD know about this! But any discussion on that should be a different topic. This one is about "do we want the track symbols to mean the same thing all over the world (as far as possible)?"
